Macco turns in signatures for Senate candidacy
De Pere resident John Macco turned in his nomination signatures to the Wisconsin Government Accountability Board on May 31 for the purpose of being placed on the November ballot for the state’s 30th Senate District.
Macco, a Republican, announced his candidacy last month to challenge sitting Democrat Dave Hansen in the fall election.
The district entails southern Marinette County, eastern Oconto County and part of Brown County, including the east side of De Pere south to Glenmore, northern Green Bay and the east side of Howard.
